Arieh Wagner

Director of Starguest Ltd. founded in London in 1997.

“I want to prove that kosher does not equal compromise.”

The son of the renowned Wagner-Kahn hotelier family, Arieh has been managing the Kosher Events department at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane for over 20 years.

Are tickets transferable?

I bought my tickets, but now I can’t make it, can I get my money refunded?

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for tickets.

I know the show has sold out, but can I get just one more ticket?

Unfortunately we cannot sell more tickets than the space can handle.

I’m under 21, can I buy a ticket and just participate in the food portion of the show?

This is a 21 and older event, no exceptions.

Can I bring a baby/child?

Wine will not be sold at KFWE nor can it be removed from the premises. Please note, this includes wine in glasses.

I’m with the press, how can I get a press pass?

Press passes are very limited and even if you’ve covered the show in the past that does not guarantee a pass again. Please address all press pass requests at www.kfwelondon.com/trade-and-press-registration/ and include your name, affiliation with brief description and phone number where you can be reached.

Conveniently located behind Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, constantly attended during opening hours, the indoor car park offers an extensive number of parking spaces for almost all types of vehicles. Open 24hours a day, it is the ideal choice for Park Lane parking for residents and non-residents alike. Arieh was, quite literally, involved in the hospitality business from the cradle. His father, Meir Wagner, ran Silberhorn Hotel, a kosher hotel that had been in the family since 1926 and was located in Grindelwald, an idyllic resort at the foot of the Swiss Alps.

The year Arieh was born, his mother, Ruth Wagner, received her hotel diploma, which meant that he was born with a silver spoon, or ladle, in his hands. He grew up filling in for missing staff, serving the non-mevushal wines, helping Kasher the kitchen for Pesach, supervising the cows’ milking up on the mountain at 7 a.m., and lugging down the 40 litres of chalav Yisrael milk.

Arieh’s discretion and confidentiality along with exemplary professionalism mean that he has been trusted to manage and cater events for most of the recent Prime Ministers of the UK such as Prime Ministers Boris Johnson, Theresa May, David Cameron and Tony Blair.

Amongst the most famous served guests are the late Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, HRH Prince Philip, Nelson Mandela and Baroness Thatcher.

Today, STARGUEST, the brand name among the kosher travelling elite, arranges everything kosher; from destination weddings in Marbella, Spain, to Kosher Luxury at The Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

Over 200 Wines to Taste

More than 200 wines, from over 40 producers will be showcased, and winemakers and producers will be on hand to offer tastings of their recently released wines, offering advice on wine selection, food pairing, drinking and storing suggestions. Plus, spirits and liqueurs, including fine Scotch whiskies, will be coming from France, Spain, United States, New Zealand, Israel, the UK and Argentina.
